Absolute Value I can understand and order absolute value of rational numbers.

Vocabulary  Absolute Value:  The distance from zero on the number line, the absolute value of -5 is 5 because -5 is 5 units away from zero, l-5l = 5.  Rational Number:  A number that can be expressed as a fraction or ratio of integers.  Inequality:  A statement that one quantity is less than or greater than another. The symbols,, ≠ are used.  Number Line:  A line on which equally spaced points are marked. The points correspond, in order, to the numbers shown.  Absolute Value:  The distance from zero on the number line, the absolute value of -5 is 5 because -5 is 5 units away from zero, l-5l = 5.  Rational Number:  A number that can be expressed as a fraction or ratio of integers.  Inequality:  A statement that one quantity is less than or greater than another.
