The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a landmark piece of legislation in the United States that outlawed major forms of discrimination against blacks and women, including racial segregation. What is the Civil Rights Act?

After the Act was signed America was moving toward integration. There were many more fights to fight, but the leaders of the Movement took this opportunity to spread the word of equality. Civil Rights Act of 1964 changes America!
