STORY OF OUR FILM: Genre: drama Duration: approx 5 minutes The story runs through a photo album from the years of 1990 to present 2015, an all the things a family go through, prom, graduation, marriage, children, children, and loss. We start at with a young child filmed in a camcorder style black and white, the child is now a young boy, saturated colours still on a camcorder, winning a football tournament, teenage boy posing for prom changes to a scene with the same boy graduating Uni in 1993, wedding a plane crash happens there's a news report on member of the family injured, the family photo, the person injures is fine.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: Husband- Babar Fareed = 41 years old and Asian male – wedding, main character Wife- Gulshan Fareed = 41 year old and an Asian woman – wedding pictures Baby- Adam Fareed = 2 year old Asian male – baby age Child- Asim Fareed = 8 year old Asian male – childhood Teenager-Ismail Fareed = 16 year old Asian male – graduating

VISUAL& AUDIO ELEMENTS: Lighting- soft, natural, natural lighting, an or light from lamps and room lights. Camera movement- there are a few continuous shots that travel from year to another. Panning shots. Continuous movement, stylistic conventions of the film birdman. Editing- the colour palette will be changes to suit each year, e.g. saturated, black and white, there will be a few graphics for the news report part. Setting- in the front room of a family house, sofa, table photo frame Actors- the casting for the news reporter will ne done but the casting for the family is found already through the producer’s (Amirah) family. Costumes- graduation and prom suit, graduation hat, slightly dated baby clothes Soundtrack- music that was popular out of each time that is shown in the short Effects- possible baby noises recorded, cheers for graduation

RATIONALE: We chose this idea because we liked the idea of a film within a film or a photo coming to life kind of idea, I think this will be a good project because there are a lot of skills we can use to make the way this film is edited an filmed cleverly and done well. The skills we plan to use and develop making this film are the shots, panning shots, an the sight continuous format style. The editing is as I said important as well because we have chosen to experiment with different colour palettes and music to set the scene of the particular year we are shooting. The message behind our film is to show images that create memories and memories that create emotion. It is meant to make the audience realise the importance of cherishing moments as any circumstance can change making that person just another memory instead of being part of you.
