What man-made structures exist Landforms (mountains, rivers, forest etc..) climate, wildlife, soil etc…

HUMAN-ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION We adapt to the environment by wearing clothing suitable for summer (shorts) and We adapt to the environment by wearing clothing suitable for summer (shorts) and winter (coats), rain and shine. How do humans and the environment affect each other  We depend on it People depend on the Yakima River for water and irrigation  We modify it People modify our environment by heating and cooling buildings, knocking down trees to build, blasting holes in mountains for tunnels, mining, herding etc..  We adapt to it

First to develop large cities: shared communities for a common good. Examples from Mesopotamia
