Map of U.S. by 1830 and Priorities by 1850 Use pages 175, 206, , , and of your textbook to complete each part of the map. Make a key for capitals, how land was gained, and write neatly! 20 points 1. Shade (do not label) in any areas that were states by Label all cities that were U.S. national capitals for some period of time. (Signify the permanent capital with a different symbol.) 3. Point out how the United States acquired these various states and territories in the U.S. by (ex: LA Purchase, Treaties ect.) 4.Finally determine what the physical boundaries were for the three regions in existence in 1830 (Northeast, South and West) 5.
