About me I graduated from Columbus State University in 2012 My Husband, Travis and I love to spend our summers at the beach! This is our dog Max! He loves being out on the water with us. When I was in Third Grade, My favorite subject was Science!
Goals 0 Get to know each of my students and begin creating a classroom community. 0 To build up confidence in my students --They need to be recognized for success, no matter how great or small! 0 Lastly, I want my parents to feel involved in their child’s learning.
Class Rules Respect 0 Property 0 Others 0 Ourselves We will make a class contract on the first day of school and this will set up additional “student initiated” expectations.
Grades 0 Students will receive grades in the following areas: 0 Reading 0 Writing 0 Language Arts 0 Spelling & Vocabulary (Calculated with Language Arts) 0 Math 0 Science 0 Social studies 0 Behavior-conduct 0 HW – Completion Grade will be given in all subject areas that HW is expected. The Infinite campus parent portal will allow you to check grade from your smartphone or computer. You can also receive s when new grades are posted.
Homework Policy 0 A Spelling HW packet will be sent home each Monday. It will need to be completed and returned by Thursday of each week. 0 Additional HW will be coming home daily and should be return the next day for review and feedback. 0 Students are required to read at least 30 minutes nightly and reading logs should be initialed by parents. 0 Please contact me if there is a question about the HW. I will meet with your child to answer any questions. 0 Students will receive letter grades on their overall score 0 More information to come on HW directions.
