What Is IWP? It is a web-based software tool that ensures: Hazards are identified and appropriate engineering controls are in place, The required administrative controls (both corporate and line) are followed, The people performing the work are trained to do so, A mechanism exists to formally authorize work, The process is scalable based on risk. Physically, it’s an electronic lab notebook that helps organize & incorporate ES&H into mission work.
