School of Education The challenges faced to date: Converting Primary Schools to School Direct – the expectation of employment However – cluster model is growing – most Primary Clusters are applying for School Direct

School of Education The challenges faced to date: The free market – the money issue However -Growing emphasis on ‘the moral imperative’ -Developing relationships with Teaching Schools

School of Education The challenges faced to date: Breakdown of – Sense of collaborative work with other HEIs  However – good work with APTE continues – Sense of collaborative work with the TA (as was)
