Earth’s population has increased so much that there is not enough space for everyone to live. The rich and famous are looking to experienced real-estate agents like you to visit the other seven planets in our solar system to find the hot new housing market for the year Land is selling fast in space, so hop into your space Corvette and let’s go!

You must split your real-estate team into two groups, each group will research 2-3 planets to help decide which will be the best fit for your client’s new homes. Each person in your group must become an expert on the planets you research. Create a real-estate listing for the planets that you research to give to your clients.

With your group decide who is going to research which planets. Take notes in your science journal as you find information. Make sure to find information on: Distance from the sun Average temperature What the planet and atmosphere are make of A photograph of the planet Information about the planet’s moons (if any) The time it takes to orbit the sun Unique features that would draw in your clients Begin your research!

Visit the following sites to gather your information: (real planet pictures) Mercury- Venus- Mars- Jupiter- Saturn- Uranus- Neptune-

Look at the sample real-estate listings at the following websites: Design a real-estate listing template for your group. Create a listing for each planet, make sure to include the following information: Distance from the sun Average temperature What the planet and atmosphere are make of A photograph of the planet Information about the planet’s moons (if any) The time it takes to orbit the sun Unique features that would draw in your clients

Science Journal Notes- 30% Group Participation- 20% Real-Estate Listings- 50% Be creative with your real- estate listings. The design is up to you as long as you include the information your clients requested.

Congratulations! Your extraordinary listings have clients knocking down your door for Space Real-Estate. Which planet would you like to live on in the year 2040? What makes this planet better than all of the others? What would you need to survive on this planet? Discuss these questions with your group. We will discuss them as a class.
