 Title pages (5 x 4 pts) = 20 pts  Drawings (15 x 5 pts) = 75 pts  Name of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Location of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Function of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Each part labeled (44 x 1) = 44 pts  Drawings in color (15 x 1) = 15  Neatness = 30 pts  TOTAL = 319 POINTS

 Must be Neat In color Have parts labeled Labels must be in straight line Labels cannot cross each other

 Cross out w/ single line Like this  No white out!

 Bottom right corner  No larger that 1 cm 2

 Title (Tissue Lab)  Your first & Last name  Mrs. Glisson  Per #  (REMEMBER… NEATNESS COUNTS!!!)

 Title page for  Epithelial Tissues

 Draw a line across the paper, dividing it into top & bottom halves  Trace a circle in the middle of the top and bottom  P. 3 – top = Simple squamous epithelium  P. 3 – bottom = Simple cuboidal epithelium  For each write “Location” & Function”

 P. 4 – top = Simple columnar epithelium  P. 4 – bottom = Pseudostratified columnar epithelium  P. 5 – top = Stratified Squamous epithelium  P. 5 – bottom = Transitional epithelium

 Connective Tissues title page

 Draw line dividing top & bottom halves  Draw a circle on each half  P. 7 top = Bone  P. 7 bottom = Hyaline cartilage  P. 8 top = Fibrocartilage  P. 8 bottom = Adipose  P. 9 Blood (you can put it top or do it in middle of page)

 Muscle tissues title page

 Draw line dividing top & bottom halves  Draw a circle on each half  P. 11 top = Striated (skeletal) muscle  P. 11 bottom = Cardiac muscle  P. 12 Visceral (smooth) muscle (can be on top or middle)

 P. 13 = Nervous Tissue title page  P. 14 = Motor Nerve Cell (draw circle at top or middle)

 Make sure you have labeled “Location” & “Function”  Use Ch. 3 of your text book to fill these in
