Easter Monday It is the time for three holidays (Mondays, Thursday and Good Friday) and Easter, Sunday, these days are a festival and the time for giving chocolate Easter eggs, but also Easter means much more tan just that, Easter is the oldest and one of the most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life of Jesus Christ.
April Fool’s Day Its main characteristic is that you can prank to everyone and they cannot get mad at you. This holiday is a Little similar to the Mexican December 28th. this day became popular in England around 1700’s so it is kind of old, the kind of jokes that they made usually involve people persuading other people to do something silly.
St. George´s Day (April 23rd) England´s National day is St. George´s. This is a story that first appeared in the 6th century and claims that St. George rescued a defenseless maid by slaying a terrific dragon that could spew flames. The saint´s name was shouted as battle cry by English knights who fought under the red-cross flag of St. George during the Hundred Years Wars (1338-1453).
This was immortalized in one of Shakespeare´s wonderful plays called Henry V, in the lines: “I see you stand like greyhound in the slips, Straining upon the start. The game´s afoot: Follow you spirit; and, upon this charge Cry´God for harry! England and Saint George!”

Its origins date from the 1960`s and it was celebrated by the Caribbean Immigrants. It is a joyful celebration because it has a lot of customs and music.It is also one of the largest carnivals in Europe
