Italy is in Europe

Rome is the capital city of Italy. Rome is a shape of a boot. Italy is 166, 300 square miles. Italian Flag The Italian flags colours are green, white and red. The green is hope, white is faith and red is charity. In Italian flag its representing green is for hills, white is mountains and red is for the bloody wars for the independence.

Weather Italy mostly sunny but slightly windy. In winter it is quite wet but in the summer it is hot. Snow usually covers the mountain’s. Food Italian people eat pizza, pasta, spaghetti and lasagna and they drink wine, juice and tea. Italian people have very famous ice cream (gelato).  

Landscape Italy has two large islands called Sicily and Sardina. Inside Italy there are 2 interdependent countries, Vatican City and San Marino. Italy is the home of Pope. In Rome there is a river called the river Tiber. There is an active volcanic mountain called Mount Etna.

Things to see in Italy The leaning Tower of Pisa is one the favourite building in Italy. Scientists suggested to make the Leaning tower of Pisa straight but people didn't want to straighten it. The Colosseum was a place where the Romans did entertainment like Gladiators fought to there death. They fought until blood soaked the floor.

Things to see in Italy Venice is canal city in Italy. Venice is made up of about 115 tiny islands and they have at least 150 canals.

Famous People Leonardo da Vinci was a famous artist and an inventor . His famous art were called ‘The Last Supper and’ ‘Mona Lisa’. Leonardo da Vinci invented a pyramid shaped parachute. Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer his first mission was to the Atlantic ocean Leonardo da Vinci

Italy is Well Known for Food Cars Italian pizza is very famous food its an Italian invention Cars Lamborghini is an Italian car and they are fast cars. Ferrari is also an Italian company and they are super fast.
