Romanticism Art Late 1800’s Direct reaction to the Enlightenment What were the 5 concepts of the Enlightenment? Predict what the Romantic artist would stress in their artwork. For each piece of artwork: Evaluate and interpret the following: Use of color- dark/light How realistic is the painting? Role of nature in the painting? Does the painting evoke an emotion?
