With the Lord, there is Mercy… Do you ever wonder what it’s like to BE God? God loves everyone. Here are three people who want to be forgiven. Pretend you are God, who loves them. Listen as they ask you for MERCY.
“I have been envious. I’ve been sad because other people are good “I have been envious. I’ve been sad because other people are good. Lord, I’ve been so dumb about this! I should be happy for them. I’m sorry.”
“Sometimes I space out at church, on purpose “Sometimes I space out at church, on purpose. Lord, I know you’re paying attention to me. I should pay attention to you too. I’m sorry for ignoring you, Lord, when you’re spending time with me.”
“Every time I say something, people ignore me or tell me to stop howling. That makes me so MAD! Arg! But it hurts me to be mad. Lord, please forgive me.”
With the Lord, there is Mercy… Now pretend to be God, Who forgives them. Hold up your RIGHT HAND as a sign of your mercy, and read the next slide OUT LOUD…
