What effect does Industry have on the perceptions of leadership and gender? In this study we looked at a sample of 485 Women and 467 Men from 107 organizations in 19 Industries to see what effect a leader’s gender would have on their perceptions as a leader. The gender dominance of the industry they worked in became a mitigating factor in how they were perceived by others and how they perceived themselves.
