Presentation transcript:

The aim of this activity : By the time you complete this activity you will be able to :- ► Define the different leadership methods. ► Connect different leadership methods to situations in the Public Services. ► Compare and discuss the effectiveness of the different methods and their importance in the Public Services.

This task is connected with the following assessment criteria :- ► ► Ll 1 – Describing different leadership methods. ► ► C 1 – Comparing leadership methods in the Public Services. ► ► CU 1 – Evaluating the effectiveness of different leadership methods.

Leadership Methods In groups discuss which terms are associated with the leadership method. You will need to record the information on the correct page in your ‘LEADERSHIP METHODS’ pack’. Having done this you will need to record the adjectives associated with the method, the main characteristics of the method and 2 examples of the use that could be made of the method in the Public Services. Its feasible for groups to research one or two methods only and to share the information with the rest of the class e.g. JIG-SAW TASK.
