Spiritual Gifts We are admonished to understand them. (1 Cor. 12:1) We are motivated to use them. (1 Tim. 4:14) We are responsible to use them. (1 Pet. 4:10) Why is it important to understand this subject? 3/14/11

Spiritual Gifts The Holy Spirit brings us assurance of our personal salvation. He brings assurance that each one of us is special, and allows us to develop a healthy self-esteem. He brings us assurance that we can bear fruit and motivates us to personal growth. He gives us special gifts to be used in our personal ministry. 3/14/11

Definition of Spiritual Gifts Spiritual gifts are divine abilities distributed by the Holy Spirit to each Christian according to the will of God for the well-being of the body of Christ. 3/14/11
