Generation No Kid Hungry Photo Essay Contest One of five kids in America struggles with hunger, but No Kid Hungry is changing that by ensuring that all children get the healthy food they need. Join the other members of Generation No Kid Hungry in taking a stand for kids facing hunger.

What is a Photo Essay? The Challenge  Write original essay words  Include 3-5 original photographs  How does hunger affect lives of US teens & children  Essay: personal, persuasive, objective, political  Photos: deliver your message or story Judging  Contest Mission: Does your photo essay articulate the problem of childhood hunger?  Creativity: Are your choices of word and image fresh & original producing strong emotions?  Technical Skill: Does your essay have a main point, strong sentences, & clear grammar? Are photos clear & well presented?
