Mountain Lion’s Habitats Mountain Lions live on Mountains and in forests. They prowl around North and South America. They can live 10,000 feet above sea level.

Mountain Lions Prey A Mountain Lion hunts at dawn and dusk. They stalk deer, elk, and rabbits. A Mountain Lion can jump 15 to 40 feet to catch it’s prey.

How does it Protect Themselves A Mountain Lion is very powerful to bring down a animal. They have sharp claws and teeth to kill or injure a animal very badly. A mountain lion will run up a tree to avoid predators.
