Introduction The CAT Basic Battery with InView  The Terra Nova California Achievement Test (CAT) Basic Battery: Comprehensive, standardized, norm-referenced achievement test Selected response format Reading, language arts and mathematics scores 2000 norm group and consistent with national and state standards  The InView: Academic aptitude and cognitive abilities Subtests on verbal reasoning, sequences, analogies and quantitative reasoning Anticipated achievement scores compared to obtained achievement scores by combining CAT and InView HINGHAMPUBLICSCHOOLSHINGHAMPUBLICSCHOOLS

Analysis of Grade 6 CAT/InView Results Fall 2012 Scores the same as 2011 in reading, math, and total score and decreased by one point in language “Obtained” scores higher than the “anticipated” achievement scores Positive statistically significant difference between “obtained” and “anticipated” math achievement scores Forty-seven percent of students scored in the 115 and above CSI category Grade CAT and InView scores consistent with recent results HINGHAMPUBLICSCHOOLSHINGHAMPUBLICSCHOOLS
