D1. Review of Crop Inspection Report Section of Circular 6 1

Review of Crop Inspection Report Section of Circular 6 Section 1 of Circular 6 provides Regulations for all Seed Crops. Subsection 1.7 describes general instructions for crop inspection.

Timing of Inspection Each crop-specific Section of Circular 6 contains a subsection on crop inspection, which generally contains: Information repeated from subsection 1.7 Instructions for the timing of crop inspection The CFIA provides Special Work Instructions which direct the inspectors to conduct their inspection, based on the crop kind, at a specific time of the inspected crop’s development. There are discrepancies between the timing of inspection instructions provided by the two documents.
