Cassia Cassia fell in love with Ky, but she was matched with Xander. So then she got in real big trouble and was sent to the outer provinces for “6 months.” So she ran away with Indie. She joined the rising so she could stop the society. When she found out about the plague, she was scared, because she had a chance of getting it. But then she got the immunization so she couldn’t get sick. When the Mutation came around she was immune to that. She only joined the rising for 2 reasons: To stop the Society… and be with Ky.

Ky Ky is in a lower class then most people are, so he’s not allowed to be matched, gets the worst jobs, and might die earlier than he should. When he fell in love with Cassia he got in like 1,000,000 pounds of trouble. He got sent to the outer provinces to die. He escaped with Vick and Eli, but Vick was later murdered. Ky was immune to the plague, but not the mutation. He caught the mutation and went “still.” While he was still, he imagined he was on a boat in the middle of the ocean with indie, and then the boat sank. And he started to die. Ky was saved at the last minute when he got the cure to the mutation.

Xander Xander wanted 2 things in life. To be with Cassia, and to cure the plague with the Rising. To bad he could only have one of them. He secretly worked for the rising while in the society. He made many children immune to the plague, and the Red Tablets. When the Rising came, they gave him and many others the cure, and Xander saved many lives. But he didn’t expect the mutation. Xander worked with Oker to cure that. They made a cure that didn’t work, and Oker didn’t realize it till the last seconds… of his life. Xander was told to get the real cure and destroy the old one. But he was arrested because nobody knew if he did it with command or not. But when Hunter tried to kill, he was free!

Other Characters The pilot: He was major, but not much is known about him. He leads the Rising. Anna: The leader of a village of people immune to the mutation. Oker: The old guy that helped Xander find the cure. Bram: Cassia’s little brother, who sent her their, grandfathers I.D Mom and Dad: They both went still, Mom survived, but Dad died. Cassia and Bram’s parents. Indie: She was sent to the outer provinces for trying to run away. She died of a plane crash and the Mutation at the same time. Creepy.
