©2014 by Vista Higher Learning, Inc. All rights reserved Possessive adjectives are always placed before the nouns they modify.
©2014 by Vista Higher Learning, Inc. All rights reserved Because su and sus have multiple meanings (your, his, her, their, its), you can avoid confusion by using this construction instead: [article] + [noun] + de + [subject pronoun].
Possessive adjectives tell you who owns something or describe a relationship between people or things. In Spanish possessive adjectives agree in number with the nouns they describe. In English there is no number agreement with possessives. Ex. Mi libro/Mis libros My book/My books Su carro/Sus carros his/-her car/their cars Nuestra clase/Nuestras clases Our class/Our classes
