The People The people in Australia are very friendly and down to earth. Australia is very multicultural so there are people who come from many countries around the world, such as Vietnam, America, China, Japan, Italy and many more.

The Landscape In Australia there are many types of landscapes. Towards the inland it becomes more desert like and towards the coasts it becomes more fertile. There are mountain ranges including the Great Dividing Range which runs down the East coast. There are also a number of rivers that run from the mountain to the coast.

The Towns And Cities In Australia there are many towns and cities some of which are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart. Most people in Australia live in cities. There are towns all across the country, such as Avoca Beach, Kirra, Tweed Heads, Orange and Devonport.

Native Fauna In Australia there are many native animals including wallabies, kangaroos, kookaburras, cockatoos, echidna, platypus, bilbies and emus. Some of these native animals are endangered because of disease such as the Tasmanian Devil and others because of feral animals.
