Presentation transcript:

Grammar Boot Camp Parts of Speech Challenge Each group is responsible for one part of speech (with one exception– adverbs and interjections will be covered by the same group as they are not as in depth as the other parts of speech) You are to come up with a 15 minute presentation to teach the class about your part of speech. Presentations will be graded using a rubric. Presentation Guidelines– Groups only have one class period to come up with their presentation. If you have information that you want displayed through the computer, you need to write it up on a sheet of paper EXACTLY as you want it to appear. I will type it up this evening EXACTLY as you have written it. Groups will have 15 minutes to deliver their presentation. This time includes whatever time is needed for your activity. Groups will have 10 minutes at the beginning of class on Thursday to review their presentation and make any final adjustments. This will not be a time for presentation completion. You MUST have it done by the end of Wednesday’s class. Each presentation should have two segments. Information Segment You must include the definition and example of each type of your assigned part of speech on your transparencies. Activity Segment Create an activity that will allow all students to participate.
