Breathing Air Scott-RevolveAir Charge station with X4 controller. Storage Auto-fill capable. Unit can fill 2 SCBA bottles at a time behind a burst shield. Scott- Hush 15 hp Multi stage, 23.5 cfm Compressor. 480v 3 phase Motor in the Starboard VSP room psi system. Bank of 4 DOT/ASME Air Storage Tanks located near the compressor in the Starboard VSP room. Not a Cascade sys. A Crossover Air Control/Regulator panel (High to Low) for Emergency air needs. Circuit Breaker located in Main Electrical Panel under MCC control panel.

Breathing Air Components Scott-Hush model. 15 hp 23.5 cfm Compressor Unit Low Oil sensor Oil Fill/Dipstick 5 Quarts of I/R XL-700 Compressor Oil.

Breathing Air Components 480v 3ph 15hp Motor Hinge Point Note: The Vee-belts are tensioned by the Weight of the Motor bearing down on the drive pulleys.

Breathing Air Components The Compressor Circuit Control Box. The E-Stop was added for a Lock-Out to protect the safety of any service personnel.

Breathing Air Components Multistage Pressure Gages Every 15 minutes of operation the dump valve will open and the condensation will be forced into two collection jars and ultimately into the reservoir. When this happens you will see a momentary drop in pressure on the stage’s pressure gages. Normal.

Breathing Air Components Compressor Output Pressure Gage

Breathing Air Components Condensation Collection Jars Condensation Reservoir The Compressor will cycle during its operation to remove condensation. You will notice a pressure Drop in the 3 higher stages. This is Normal.

Breathing Air Components Condensation Collection Jars and Reservoir

Breathing Air Components Purification Filters are located behind the unit. A little tight in this location.

Breathing Air Components Intake Air Cleaner Each Stage has a Pressure Relief Valve

Breathing Air Components Bank of 4-Air Storage Bottles Located in the Starboard VSP room. System likes to fill one bottle at a time. Two more forward

Breathing Air Components RevolveAir with X4 Controlled Charge Station

Breathing Air Safety Tip: Watch your fingers here as you rotate the cylinders in and out. Definite Pinch Point.

Breathing Air Components SCBA Bottles simply thread into this fitting and hang free on the SCBAs valve body. When removing a filled bottle this is your pressure drain valve to free up the threads. There is 1 adapter hose for filling SCUBA tanks

Breathing Air Good Look at the Revolving Door Fill Station. Do not forget to close your Bleed valve before you rotate it close. If you do forget, you will hear it Immediately after you push down the lock/unlock lever. This locking Lever also controls an internal air fill valve.

Breathing Air Cross-Over Control Box Forward Starboard ER bulkhead Just to the Starboard side of the service air compressors. On/Off Isolation/ Flow Control Valves Pressure Regulator and Outlet Pressure Gage. Hi pressure Low Pressure

Breathing Air The X4 Control Screen functions are being sent to Mike Lorton. They are copies of the Scott manual pertaining to its functions. He will post them with this Power Point. They are much better explained than by me. Easy system to use. The Compressor is relatively quit. Note: Before we begin to fill bottles the VSP room Ventilator Fan must be turned on and BOTH ventilation Vent hatches opened. (intake and exhaust) Located P&S at the Main deck Doorways.
