Leadwood Game Reserve A private safari lodge situated in the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, nestled against a well wooded bank of the Sand River, where jackal berry and Leadwood trees lend their shade. Its four suites distanced from one another to offer solitude and serenity.

Pre-Safari Information Never attempt to attract an animal's attention. Don't imitate animal sounds, clap your hands, pound the vehicle or throw objects. Litter tossed on the ground can choke or poison animals and birds and is unsightly. Don’t go wandering off on your own without a guide – even to your rooms. After retiring to your rooms at night, don’t leave them. Please listen to the camp staff and guides. The safety precautions need to be taken seriously, and strictly adhered to. Observe animals silently and with a minimum of disturbance to their natural activities. Loud talking on game drives can frighten the animals away. The wild animals are not like those found in theme parks – they aren’t tame.

Other Items Insect repellent e.g. Tabard, Rid, Jungle Juice, etc Warm winter jersey Good quality sunglasses - preferably polarized. Tinted fashion glasses are not good in strong light
