Science Drop Egg Experiment By: Matheus Vasconcellos

Question With material do I need to protect the egg so it will no break from a 5 meter place?

Hypothesis If a protect my egg with a lot of sponge then maybe it will not break.

Procedure 1.Get an egg, a sponge, aluminum, some rubber bands, and tape. 2.Fill in the egg with tape. 3.Get the rubber bands and put a lot of them on the egg with the tape. 4.Tape all the sponge you have on the egg. 5.Wrap all the project on aluminum. 6.When you are ready test your experiment by the ceiling of your room or your kitchen….. Were ever you want but it need to measure more or less 5 meters. 7.Test you experiment a several times. 8. Have fun

Scetch The rubber bands Egg Tape Sponge Tape

Results My egg survived. It didn’t sound very hard because it had sponge. It went very fast. The package also didn’t break. I thought it was going to break because of the velocity it fell

Conclusion I think the egg survived because I put a lot of coition so it could absorb the hit. The material I used was not very strong but it could absorb the hit. If I was to compare my protect to other projects I will say that honestly I did a very good job. A lot of the eggs broke in my class. I was very creative. I hope you enjoyed my presentation.
