The Six Disciplines Of Engineering By:Jaron Silas

Chemical Engineering Job Description: A job for people that like science. To be more specific physics and chemistry Starting Salaries: The starting salary for a chemical engineer is $106,670 What do they do: Chemical engineers use their knowledge mixing chemistry and physics to develop new chemicals, products and enhance manufacturing techniques

Civil Engineering Job description: This job is for people who wants to be a construction worker Starting Salaries: $81,000 What do they do: They work on the design, construction, and maintenance of public works.

Electrical Engineering Job description: A person who would like to deal with robotics Starting salaries: The starting salary would be $98,670 What do they do: Electrical engineers design, develop and test electrical equipment and other technological systems.

Mechanical Engineering Job description: Mechanical engineering is for people that loves math and wants to learn how to make and work on machinery. Starting Salaries: What do they do: Mechanical engineers create and build mechanical devices. They apply science and math to create useful solutions that the rest of us can use.

Aeronautical Engineering Job description: A job for someone who wants to designs aircrafts and it somewhat has to do with the Navy. Starting salaries: The starting salary of a Aeronautical engineer is $97,800 What do they do: An aeronautical engineer looks at the research and development of different types of aircraft. He or she uses advanced computer software to design new crafts.

Biomedical Engineering Job description: This is for people who wants to enter the medical industry Staring Salaries: What do they do: Biomedical engineers are employed in hospitals, in research facilities of educational and medical institutions, in teaching, and in government regulatory agencies.

What do I want to do? I believe I want to be an electrical engineer because I love robotics and I want to learn how to fix things electrically. And since I’m planning on math as my major and I’m really good at physics. And I was once told if you do something you love you’ll never work a day in your life.
