Job listing Company: AECI Location: Springfield, MO 65807 Job description: This position will be an engineering resource for all AECI locations in addressing technical issues and technical planning for future projects. This person will serve as the subject matter expert over all chemical processes and lead the development and maintenance of AECI’s water chemistry programs and lead program documentation to ensure programs and practices are best in class. Water programs will include but not limited to waste water, water projects, and boiler/HRSG water chemistry. This person will also provide engineering support for process control aspects of plant systems containing various substances: water, steam, ammonia, glycol, hydrogen, various treatment chemicals, etc. Other responsibilities will include inspecting, evaluating and analyzing various systems to determine their corrosion levels and failure mechanisms. This person will have fleet-wide responsibilities and will support interactions with many organizational stakeholders. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. Preferred experience/skills: Prior utility experience, knowledge of chemical engineering concepts, attention to detail , manage project tasks and deadlines., verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
