FREDDIE MERCURY
Freddie Mercury was born on 5 September,1946 in Zanzibar, Tanzania. He was a British singer, songwriter and producer, best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band Queen (he also played piano). In addition to his talents as a singer and songwriter, Freddie was also a skilled showman. He knew how to entertain audiences and how to connect with them. His real name was Farrokh Bulsara. He died on 24 November, 1991 at the age of 45. The official cause of his death was bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS.
