Contraceptives-Hormonal Methods Birth Control offers protection yourself against pregnancy and give you protection against sexually transmitted diseases.

The Pill  Also known as birth control.  Must be taken everyday to work correctly.  Easy to use.  You can rely on it on it work.

The Morning-After Pill  Also known as Plan B.  Prevents pregnancy 72 hours after having unprotected sex.  Side effects may occur such as nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, and blood- clot formation,

The Mini Pill  Do not contain estrogen.  Prescribed to women who are breastfeeding or women who experience nausea with estrogen.  95 percent effective.

The Patch  Releases the same hormones was the pill.  Skin patch you are able to wear.  Mostly wore on upper torso, arm and abdomen  99 percent effective.
