What does impatience feel like?

Mindfulness moment

Exploration: ranking Definition of patience: –Figure out if something is really bad, or you just think it is. –Know when you can change it or not. –Don’t make the situation worse.

Think about it… Think about something really bad that happened this week. Could you have changed it? What are ways of making a situation worse? Have you ever done that?

Setting Our Kabbalot A small, achievable goal that has to do with the value. Examples: – Slow down when doing chores/assignments. – Practice patience while waiting (deep breathing or imagining). – Write a poem or song about patience. –Listen to a song that makes you feel patient. –Make a list of things that require patience. –Think of times when you are most impatient. Try to focus on being patient before those times happen.

Focus Phrase Helps us remember our kabbalot. Try to reflect on your focus phrase for a minute or two each morning. –Examples: Patience is a virtue. Savlanut Deep breath Relax Take notice
