“Give yourself entirely to those around you, Be generous with your blessings. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.”- Steve Marabol, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

Discussion Questions What does the quote mean? What possible wounds? Think of a time when someone gave you something, helped you, or did some type of random act of kindness. How did it make your feel? Give examples of things people can do and give to others. Have you ever done something for someone you did not even know?

Byron Nelson – Opportunities to Give Pennies for Pasta- November 1 st – November 15 th - Advisory classes will raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The advisory class that raises the most money will receive a Olive Garden lunch. Discuss how much money your advisory class has raised so far, collect any additional money, and talk about the goal your class has set. Our school goal is

Bobcats are all about the Angels! November 26 th -December 7th In partnership with Northwest ISD, Byron Nelson will help by gathering money and items through the advisory class that others may need for the holidays. After the Thanksgiving Break, we will start our fundraiser for the Angels we are adopting for Christmas and other items needed. One Advisory class from each grade level will receive a Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 18 th during advisory class, which will include breakfast.

Bobcat Blood The holiday season is a time where many local hospitals and blood banks are short on blood. Your blood donation could help save a life. Please help us with our December 11 th blood drive and encourage your family and friends to donate as well. More information will come through advisory and announcements.

Random Acts of Kindness Discussion What are Random Acts of Kindness? If I can not give money to people in need, what can I do to help others? Remember this is the time of year to be Thankful and Give to Others. What will you personally do to help? Veterans Day Assembly will be Friday- What do/have our Veterans Sacrificed for others? Discuss the importance of showing respect. Make it a great holiday season for yourself and others by giving as much as you can.
