1.THE ACTS ARE INTENTIONAL (AS WITH ALL AGGRESSION) 2.IT HAPPENS PERSISTENTLY. THAT MEANS IT IS DONE AGAIN AND AGAIN BY THE SAME PERPETRATORS AGAINST THE SAME EXPOSED PERSON. ANOTHER FORM OF PERSISTENCE IS WHEN SOMETHING IS AROUND OVER A PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME, LIKE RUMORS, EXCLUSION FROM REAL OR VIRTUAL SOCIAL GROUPS, OR HURTFUL CONTENT ON THE NET OR OTHER ELECTRONIC MEDIA 3.THE POWER BALANCE IS UNEVEN. THOSE WHO DO IT ARE SOMEHOW IN A STRONGER POSITION, MAKING IT DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE EXPOSED PART TO DEFEND OR PROTECT HIMSELF OR HERSELF Bullying

BUT I SAY TO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO PERSECUTE YOU, SO THAT YOU MAY BE SONS OF YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. FOR HE MAKES HIS SUN RISE ON THE EVIL AND ON THE GOOD, AND SENDS RAIN ON THE JUST AND ON THE UNJUST. MATT 5:44-45 Bullying: What does the Bible say?

An Example of a Bully! Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

A. FIGHTING A BULLY IS NOT ALWAYS THE RIGHT COURSE OF ACTION. B. DAVID CHOSE TO FLEE. SAUL WAS THE RIGHTFULLY APPOINTED KING, AND DAVID WOULD NOT BATTLE HIM. HE TOLD SAUL: "AND MAY THE LORD AVENGE THE WRONGS YOU HAVE DONE TO ME, BUT MY HAND WILL NOT TOUCH YOU. AS THE OLD SAYING GOES, 'FROM EVILDOERS COME EVIL DEEDS, SO MY HAND WILL NOT TOUCH YOU.' "(1 SAMUEL 24:12-13, NIV)NIV Dealing with Difficult People: Time to Flee

ROMANS 12:19-20 BELOVED, NEVER AVENGE YOURSELVES, BUT LEAVE IT TO THE WRATH OF GOD, FOR IT IS WRITTEN, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY, SAYS THE LORD.” TO THE CONTRARY, “IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM; IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM SOMETHING TO DRINK; FOR BY SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.” Dealing with Difficult People: Time to Help?

The most difficult person each of us has to deal with is ourselves. Romans 2:1-29 Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man— you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself— that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.... Looking in the Mirror

ROMANS 12:18 IF POSSIBLE, SO FAR AS IT DEPENDS ON YOU, LIVE PEACEABLY WITH ALL. 1 PETER 3:8-9 FINALLY, ALL OF YOU, HAVE UNITY OF MIND, SYMPATHY, BROTHERLY LOVE, A TENDER HEART, AND A HUMBLE MIND. DO NOT REPAY EVIL FOR EVIL OR REVILING FOR REVILING, BUT ON THE CONTRARY, BLESS, FOR TO THIS YOU WERE CALLED, THAT YOU MAY OBTAIN A BLESSING. Dealing with Difficult People : Forgiveness Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, John 15:12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you;

NOT A FRIEND OF GOD 1 JOHN 3:15 EVERYONE WHO HATES HIS BROTHER IS A MURDERER, AND YOU KNOW THAT NO MURDERER HAS ETERNAL LIFE ABIDING IN HIM. PSALM 5:6 YOU DESTROY THOSE WHO SPEAK LIES; THE LORD ABHORS THE BLOODTHIRSTY AND DECEITFUL MAN. 1 JOHN 2:9 WHOEVER SAYS HE IS IN THE LIGHT AND HATES HIS BROTHER IS STILL IN DARKNESS. Dealing with Difficult People: Seeing them for who they are.

How sad to say someone Is not the friend of God!

What are we going to do? Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;... WE are not going to follow the worlds example!!! Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Psalm 82:4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Young people, you have to understand you can not serve God and follow this example. We have to follow God’s law:

1. REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU. 2. GOD GIVES US THE SPIRIT OF POWER AND LOVE AND SELF –CONTROL. 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 3. GOD WILL NOT FORSAKE YOU. DEUT. 31:6 4. REMEMBER THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT. 5. MARK 12:31 6. DO NOT FEAR THOSE WHO CAN KILL THE BODY. MATT 10:28 What to do if it happens to Me?
