The Advanced Modular Incoherent Scatter Radar (AMISR) Parts List Antenna Element Unit (AEU) pieces Solid-State Power Amplifier pieces AMISR panel 384 pieces AMISR Faces 3 pieces AMISR Support Structures 3 pieces = 384 Panel Control Boards

AMISR Status AMISR support structure at Poker Flat. 32 panels on route to Alaska for installation in second half of October. Interference testing with Clear AFB personnel to be conducted in November. AMISR prototype at Jicamarca, Peru. Eight panels undergoing tests and being used for scientific studies. Can detect coherent echoes from equatorial electrojet. AMISR prototype at Gakona, Alaska. Sixteen panels undergoing tests and being used for scientific studies. Can detect backscatter from heater induced irregularities and recently observed incoherent scatter returns from 400 km altitude.
