Social Studies Talent 21 Project By: Derek Leon 4/30/12 Period 5

Introduction How did humans directly impact their environment is a question that I’m about to answer with 7 different ages of time. I hope you will enjoy this very fine power point.

After Glacier Age Made the water rise. Too many people spread out across the sea.

Early Man Early man began clearing woody areas. Hunting and gathering. Starting fire.

Early Farmers Irrigation. Plows. Flowers have been moved to different spots.

Mesopotamia Hunted and killed animals. Harvesting wild plants for food. Domesticate farm animals. Cultivate grains.

Egypt The pyramids were built. They made papyrus.

Greece Olive oil which was grown was used to fuel lamps. Goats were a source of milk.

Conclusion I hope you learned a lot from my power point and now you know the answer to the question I’ve been asked by the teachers and that question is : How did Humans directly Impact their environment?
