This project involves the study of an artist and an imitation of the Artist’s painting style onto an object. Step 1: Select an artist’s painting that you admire – you will be reproducing this art on your object so choose carefully Step 2: Research the artist and complete the artist profile worksheet

Step 2: Prime your objet d’art with white acrylic paint (two coats may be needed) Step 3: Use pencil to sketch the artwork that you have chosen to imitate onto your object Step 4: Paint your object using acrylic paint

Step 5: Collect your objet d’art, your painting that inspired your artwork, and your artist profile worksheet. We will be having a class critique where we discuss our art objects and the artists who inspired us.
