Creating Custom Reports

Overview Within Enginuity, there are multiple ways to access reports (management, context, and ad hoc). The templates used in displaying these reports were created using Microsoft’s report design tools. Adsystech now offers the ability for users to create their own templates and publish them for use to the general user community.

Terms and Definitions: Report Inventory–Repository for storing all reports to be accessed within the system. Report Publishing– Once a report is uploaded into the report inventory it must be published to the reporting service before users can be provided access. Report Template (RDL)– Report Design Language (RDL) provides the required descriptive information to render a report format for viewing.
