UNCLASSIFIED JLOTS 2014 Port of Anchorage Tacoma Port of Tacoma Anchorage Concept of Operation Mission Statement: 622 nd Transportation Detachment will deploy to Anchorage, Alaska beginning 08 MAR 14 IOT conduct Joint Logistics Over- the-Shore Operations (JLOTS) and will conduct in-transit visibility(ITV) of cargos, Units, personnel and supplies moving over multiple lines of communication by planning, routing, scheduling, controlling, and coordinating responsibility for movements operations. Purpose: To validate the Unit’s(622 nd MCT) ability to perform detailed planning and execution of movement control operations in conjunction with sister services and other interagency capabilities during peace and war time operations. End state: The 622 nd MCT deploys safely and effectively, while providing Movement Control Support during JLOTS to sister services. 622 nd MCT fully trained and ready to provide theater port opening capabilities and to execute JLOTS and theater operations in any global environment.
