Riverside Library Read-a-thon

Why do we have a fund-raiser for the library? Raise money for: buying new library books (students are surveyed for specific titles they want.) buying prizes for Book Bugs program, books for our Chew ‘N Chat book club, etc. What else??

“Read-a-thon” Raise money by reading books!

How does this work? 1) Get money pledges from family, friends of the family, people that you know. 2) Read for 2 weeks and record the number of books read. **Since you read longer, chapter books, every 25 pages of a book will count as one book. 3) After the 2 weeks are up, collect money from pledges and return it to the library.

When are we doing this? Starts Feb. 1 st – Feb. 12 th Collect pledge money by Feb. 19 th
