What is it? The Council of Europe declared a European Day of Languages to be celebrated on 26th of September each year. The general objectives of the European Day of Languages are: Showing the public the importance of language learning and diversifying the range of languages learnt in order to increase intercultural understanding; Promoting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe. Encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school.

How can you participate? Through your PD lessons. By various quizzes throughout the week. Experience different fun language activities at lunch in the LRC Friday 25 th September. Get a taste of different foods in the dining hall during lunch on the Friday.
