Introduction Task Introduction Process Resources Evaluation Conclusion Congratulations! You and your classmates have been given the responsibility of deciding where the 6 th grade class should go on a field trip in South America. Your job is to persuade others to want to tour your desired attraction! Do you want to go to the steep drop of Angel Falls, the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu, or the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer overlooking Rio de Janiero? MACHU PICCHU ANGEL FALLS CHRIST THE REDEEMER

Task Introduction Process Resources Evaluation Conclusion Your group is developing a brochure to prepare yourselves for a debate against your classmates who want to go to a different tourist attraction. Your group’s job is to convince everyone else to go with you on your field trip!!! Remember: read everything on all three sites in order to refute others’ recommendations and support your own choice.

Process Task Introduction Process Resources Evaluation Conclusion Step 1: Get with your teacher assigned groups. Step 2: Look at all three tourist attractions and decide which place your group thinks would be the best to take the 6 th grade class on a field trip. Step 3: Make a brochure about your destination which convinces your classmates to want to go there on their class trip. A. Include a brief historical background B. Include visuals (photos, drawings, etc.) C. Include description of attraction and reasons why this is the best destination Continue To Next Step
