Presentation transcript:

Author: Tracey West Genre: Fantasy This is a book series about 4 children who are dragon masters. They are chosen by the dragon stone, and brought to the kingdom to train dragons for King Roland in secret. The wizard, Griffith is their teacher. Each dragon is a different kind of dragon. The dragon masters each wear a piece of a dragon stone that connects them to their dragons, and they can communicate with their dragons in their minds. Why have they been taken from their families to train in secret? What is the king’s plan?

This story takes place in the caves in King Roland’s kingdom. They have to travel to other lands sometimes to cure sick dragons or fight bad dragons.

Griffith: the wizard who trains the kids. Drake: grew up on family farm, has earth dragon Worm. Rori, knows everything, has fire dragon Vulcan. Bo:Drake’s friend, has water dragon Shu. Ana: has rainbow dragon Kepri King Roland: why does he keep the dragons secret?

Children are from their homes and families without notice to train dragons. They are chosen by a dragon stone and trained by a wizard. They have to train in underground caves and keep their dragons secret. The king checks on them from time to time, but no one knows why they are there or what they are training for. They have to go to different countries to fight an evil wizard. It is a good against evil battle, who will win?

I like this series because it is a fast read. The characters are engaging and encounter all kinds of problems that they have to solve. It’s great the way the dragon masters bond with their dragons and learn how to use their powers.
