Symbol Uranium is used in Nuclear weapons.

Information SymbolU Atomic Number92 Atomic Mass Melting Point1132 Degrees Celsius Boiling Point3818 Degrees Celsius Classification / FamilyRare Earth Element Density19.0 % Standard StateSolid # of Electrons in Outer Shell2

Uranium Rare Earth Elements

Properties Uranium reacts with most non matalic elements Uranium can form solid solutions with other metals Disolves in some acids but not alkalines Radioactive

Other Uses Main ingredient in an Atomic Bomb Nuclear Medicine Smoke Detectors Food Irradiation Armor Piercing

Conclusion Uranium is Radioactive which makes it have a big blast. It also react well with the other ingredients in a nuclear weapon so no problems will occure. Other elements in a nuclear weapon is Plutonium for an explotion, Neptuniun and Americium to make a chain reaction, Hydrogen and Helium to combined and make huge amounts of energy.
