Alexandra Scott Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Alexandra “Alex” Scott Born in Manchester, Connecticut on January 18, 1996 Diagnosed with a neuroblastoma shortly after she turned one In 2000, she received a stem cell transplant After the transplant, she told her mother that she wanted to have a lemonade stand to raise money for doctors to help other kids like her That year, she raised $2000 for her hospital She held yearly lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer She died in 2004 having raised over 1 million dollars for childhood cancer

Alexandra Scott Alex is a leader because of her dedication to helping others like her She was well beyond her years in selflessness and inspired many others to do the same Alex Scott was and always will be a figure of hope in not only the cancer community, but all over the world
