 We want to make a Lemonade stand. What kinds of things should we plan to be successful?

 Lila and Sirana plan to open a lemonade stand during the summer. The friends have divided the work as described below. The friends agree to sell regular lemonade for $0.75 per serving and strawberry lemonade for $1.25 per serving. There are 16 servings in 1 pitcher  Constraints we will focus on at the beginning:  Time To make the Lemonade  Time To Sell the Lemonade

 Lila decides that she will make two flafors of lemonade: regular and strawberry  It takes her 10 minutes to make a one-gallon pitcher of regular lemonade  It takes her 15 minutes to make a one-gallon pither of strawberry lemonade  She plans to spend no more than 4 hours making lemonade (remember 60 minutes in 1 hour)  Model this information with an equation or inequality

 Siriana has decided to work outside and sell the lemonade  She plans to spend no more than 6 hours selling lemonade  She estimates she will sell 1 pitcher of each type every third of an hour  Model this information with an equation or inequality

 Graph Both Inequalities on the same coordinate plane

 What do you think the best combination of Regular Lemonade and Strawberry lemonade is. Discuss why.
