3.9 Introduction to project management  The IT development requires a management method. Knowledge and understanding of the product development life style will be used as a framework to develop an IT solution for the internal assessment.  Students should review this before starting work on the project.

The product development life cycle  Investigation of existing systems  Feasibility study  Requirements specification  Project schedule  Product design  Product development and technical documentation  Client and end-user evaluation  Practical techniques:  Appropriate design techniques  Data capture  Product testing and debugging

Good use  The good use of this "project management" is it acts as a guideline to follow so you know you are completing your work the best that you possibly can, in a timely manner. This can be used as the framework for the project by keeping you on the correct path usuing these strategies.
