Reflections Packaging Rules “Let Your Imagination Fly” Visual Arts – Submit entry backed by canvas board or pressboard not exceeding 3/8” – Clear plastic covering is highly recommended to protect artwork – Do not laminate or use food wrap – Place entry form in a sheet protector; secure with masking tape on the back of artwork (on top of protective wrap) Photography – Mount photo on cardboard mat or some sort of sturdy material – Clear plastic covering is highly recommended to protect artwork – NO FRAMES! – Place entry form in a sheet protector; secure with masking tape on the back of artwork (on top of protective wrap) Literature – Submit 1 original and 2 copies, in a manila folder with entry form stapled at the top to the back of the folder – Have student make a copy – original is not returned Film Production – Submit entries on CD/DVD with name, grade, school, category and title of your artwork on DVD and cover (we recommend that you submit 2 copies of your film) – Submit entry in a 9x12” brown clasped envelope with a sheet protector stapled to outside of envelope with entry form inside protector – Have student make a copy – original is not returned Dance Choreography – Submit entries on CD/DVD with name, grade, school, category and title of your artwork on DVD and cover (we recommend that you submit 2 copies of your video) – Submit entry in a 9x12” brown clasped envelope with a sheet protector stapled to outside of envelope with entry form inside protector – Have student make a copy – original is not returned ALL entries must have a completed and signed Student Entry Form (2 pages) and an Artist Statement Keys for all entries: The Artist Statement is very important! Do NOT put your name on your work of art.. Your name should only be on the Entry Form and on the back of your artwork.

MAX 3/8” thick Clear plastic covering is recommended to protect artwork No Names on front! No Frame!

Photography Packaging Sample MAX 11” MAX 14” Mount on something sturdy (ex: cardboard) Place Entry Form (with Artist Statement) in sheet protector and tape to the back Do not put Entry Form inside the plastic covering as we need to get it out multiple times. Clear plastic covering is recommended to protect photo No Names or added graphics, including lettering, on front! No Frame!

Literature Packaging Sample Include 1 original and 2 copies Put Student Name on the BACK of each page, but NOT on the front Put page numbers on each page Staple entry form to back of envelope. Literature entries still need an Artist Statement Put in 9x12” envelope or manila folder Max 2000 words

Film Production & Dance Choreography Packaging Sample Place Entry Form (with Artist Statement) in sheet protector and staple to the back of the envelope Do not put Entry Form inside the envelope as we need to get it out multiple times. Submit entries on CD/DVD Include 1 original and 1 copy Max 5 minutes and 1 GB Write on CD/DVD and Cover: Name, Grade, Category, School and Title of Artwork Put in 9x12” envelope
