What China is doing? China reiterate the commitment to implementing the domestic climate-change policy, making headways in the sustainable development as well as transforming the economic model to the green, low-carbon and climate-adapted one.

What China is going to do? 2020: per unit GDP CO 2 emission ↓ 40% — 45% （ compare to 2005 level ） 2030: per unit GDP CO 2 emission ↓ 60% — 65% （ compare to 2005 level ） China's CO 2 emission is expected to reach the peak before We will work hard to reach the peak as early as possible.

What SOA is doing ? Lead by Example In 2014 APEC Fourth Ocean-related ministerial conference in Xiamen, China, APEC members undertake to encourage collaborations within APEC on identifying, monitoring, addressing and preparing for impacts of climate change, ocean acidification and habitat change on ocean resources including on fisheries and aquaculture.
